Gagik Abrahamyan
Gagik Abrahamyan (born August 13, 1950, in Yerevan, Armenia) is a distinguished Armenian painter whose work bridges strong academic training with a vibrant international exhibition history. He studied at the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia from 1970 to 1976, and in 1983 became a member of the Artists’ Union of Armenia, joining Armenia’s established community of professional artists.
Abrahamyan has participated in numerous exhibitions in Armenia, Russia, China, France, the United States, Luxembourg, Sudan, Poland, and Finland, reflecting a wide global engagement with his art. His paintings have been shown and collected across major cultural centers, notably in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Tashkent, and Ashgabat.
His work was highlighted in exhibitions such as “Land of Paradise” at the Union of Artists of Armenia, underscoring his standing in contemporary Armenian art.
Abrahamyan’s art is recognized for its thoughtful composition and expressive use of color, resonating with collectors and institutions in Armenia and abroad.
